About
the coach...
June Szody
Head Golf Coach, LPGA, Class “A” Golf Teaching Professional for 24 years. As well as being the Knight’s head coach for both the men’s and women’s teams June will continue at Golf Hills Golf Club as the Director of Golf Instruction. June has served as the Education Coordinator for the Western Section of the LPGA T & CP Division for five years. She also continues as an LPGA Western Section Member Advisor. June has volunteered as an instructor at a number of women’s clinics, including the nationally recognized LPGA Golf Clinics for Women. In 2000 June was voted by her peers as the LPGA Western Section Golf Professional of the Year.
Lynn (Jo) Giovannoni
Assistant Golf Coach, instructor and coach for over 30 years brings to the team her invaluable coaching experience. The 2005 golf team will greatly benefit from Lynn’s expertise and knowledge about the Shasta College educational system. I fully appreciate everything Lynn brings to the program. Lynn has been inducted into the Shasta County Hall of Fame; the California Basketball Coaching Association Hall of Fame; the Chico State Hall of Fame and the Shasta College Hall of Fame.
